Well my husband and myself, have busy schedules and we were looking for something outside of Hartford and we came across this place ❤️
Staff were very nice and helpful. The price was way too much for what i got. It was a $65 motel type room for $120 hotel price: Jacuzzi was disappointing. Only 2 jets. Pillows sucked. But, that’s in most all hotels. I gave it 3 based 90 % on the staff. Otherwise it would have been 2(1.5 if they had it) I’ll have.
It was very clean, staff were polite and friendly, comfortable,somewhat spacious. Only thing I didn't like that I would have wanted was a fridge and microwave.
My husband and I needed to find lodging at a reasonable price because I had a conference to attend in Cromwell and the following day we were traveling to Western Massachusetts. Howard Johnson's of Rocky Hill was worth it's rate. Grounds were well kept. The manager was professional, kind and helpful when I made the reservations over the phone and when I arrived to registered.
The room was extremely clean. We were able to bring our dog, and the service charge was $15.00 per night. They only allow dogs that are 30lbs and under. Howard Johnson's is located on Route 99 and is right off Interstate 91. You don't have to travel far for places to shop, eat, or grab a cup of coffee.
This is a very clean nice place to stay. I stayed in a smoking room and I don't smoke. It did not smell any different then a non smoking room.the people there are very kind and helpful. If you want a clean nice inexpensive place to stay this is the place to go. It is close to highway and plenty of places to eat.
Howard Johnson's of Rocky Hill, is highly recommended if you want comfortable beds, quiet lodging and to save money.
